Keilor Invitational Race Report

Keilor Invitational Race Report - Nick Saxton

Well what an awesome weekend at the Keilor invitational in Melbourne, My Xray Xb2 and Xb4 where awesome all weekend, had a couple of breaks with the XB2 but other than that they were on the pace.

On the Saturday was 2wd day in the morning we practiced till 12pm then we raced after that. my 2wd was awesome in practice and was on the pace after a few setup changes, after 5 races of 2wd on the Saturday I was sitting around 8th overall.

on the sunday it was 4wd day, my XB4 was on rails, we had about 1 hour of practice on the sunday with the 4wd, after a few setup changes the car was awesome. I had a bit of bad luck in the races with people taking each other, but other than that I had a fun weekend with the boys

I finished 10 overall over the weekend, it was a disappointing result but it was really close racing, if you made one mistake you went straight to last. but I had fun so that's all that matters

my proline holeshots and suburbs were on point all weekend, I can always rely on my proline tyres to good a good job

and thanks to sponsors Xray Proline Hudy Muchmore and BLR designs for the awesome support along the way I wouldn't be racing without them

The past weekend i raced at the 2018 Yokomo Invitationals and placed 4th overall in the very competitive stock class. it was a great experience travelling for RC racing. i ended up using Proline Holshots for the 1st round or two and then moved to Proline Suburbs and Scrubs when the track grooved up.
