Merto Masters Race Report by Mathew Guidotto.

The weekend of 26 and 27/11 was the weekend of the Metro Masters at TFTR in Melbourne. Practice on Friday went well. I didn't
have to do much to my XRAY T3 2012 car to get it going well. From kit set up all i changed was diff oil and springs. I put a mixture of
700 and 2000 weight oil in my diff and put 2.8 springs on the front instead of the kit 3.0 for a little more steering.

Race Time:

Unfortunatley Saturday was washed out and after waiting a long while the day was called off. Sunday was a much better day and racing started at 9am. Because the
event had to be shortened due to the rain on Saturday we were going to have 2 qualifiers and 3 finals. My first qualifier
went quite well and i finished 3rd in my group. My second qualifier didn't go quite as well but the result i got from the
first one was enough to get me 6th in the A. In my first final i didn't get a very good start but but my car was handling
really well and i managed to finish 5th. In the second final my car started to go a bit taily as the track conditions were
starting to change. I ended up finishing 7th. After this race i changed shock positions and shock oil so hopefully my car would be
better in the next race. The last final was my best one, my car was handling really well again and i finished 2nd. This was
enough to get me third overall. This was the first big event i did with the new T3 2012 car and i found that it was a big improvement
over the old one, it has more steering and more grip this made for faster lap times without having to push too hard. I was really happy with it and i didn't have to change much
from kit setup to get it to handle well.

The modified podium was:
1st: Sandy Iavazzo
2nd: Andrew Abbott
3rd: Matthew Guidotto
