The classes at our clubs are run as per RCRA rules, which can be found in the EP Off-Road Section of their website below.

Novice/beginner

This is for drivers getting used to the track or returning to racing after a break.

 Most clubs let you bring a 1/10 car and run it in race conditions.

Cars most people run are traxxas slash rustler or bandit, arrma cars in 1/10 size, cheaper cars brands like river hobbies or maverick.also race brands like Losi team associated and Xray.

 

Truck & Short Course  

A combined class of Stadium Truck, Short Course Truck and Truggy(4x4),

Most clubs use a 10.5T sensored motor and esc in blinky mode.

Kits like TEAM ASSOCIATED RC10SC6.2  or Xray XT4

 

2wd Stock

One of the most competitive classes, as the name suggests, is a 2wd buggy class, which is limited to running 17.5T Brushless motors, with blinky mode ESC's.

This is a great place to step into from Novice, and the competition can take you right from the start all the way to the top!

2wd Modified  

More 2wd buggy action, mod racing takes the drivers skill to the next level no limit on motor speed normally use a 7.5T motor more speed means higher jumping.

This is where you will find our best drivers showing their skills each week!

4wd Stock

Super popular and a great place to learn to drive a 4wd, this class is a 4wd Buggy with 13.5T motors, using only blinky mode ESC's.

4wd buggies have more speed in the infield and more control over jumps make for very competitive racing.

4wd Modified  

This is the lass for fastest buggies 

4wd Buggy with no motor limits, these cars are pushing the boundaries of what is possible with an RC car.

Reaction time and smooth control is key, with one small error always resulting in a spectacular crash for the audience!
