The chemistry provides robust adhesion on difficult surfaces while defending against impact, abrasion, and mechanical stress. Once set, coatings maintain plastic-like appearance while preserving model detail clarity. Complementary products within the Mecha Colour system include primers, specialty varnishes with proprietary formulations, and a curated selection of aging and weathering shades. Multiple coats on primed surfaces build optimal coverage; colors harden into tough, uniform layers within hours. Apply directly or thin with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver for spray work. Brush application is compatible. Optimal compressor setting: 15–20 PSI (0.5–1 kg).
